A series of ten short instructional videos produced for Orthofix to help patients understand how to properly fit and use their bone healing therapy devices — including the SpinalStim, CervicalStim, PhysioStim, and AccelStim product lines. Using bright, minimal illustrations and simple animation, each video makes device setup, insurance coverage, and daily usage feel approachable and easy to follow — even for patients who aren't comfortable with technology.
The Challenge
Orthofix needed a way to explain device fitting instructions to patients who often struggled with technology. Traditional manuals and text-heavy guides weren't cutting it — patients were confused by paperwork covering everything from insurance coverage and ABN forms to app setup and daily wear schedules. They needed short, visually clear videos that anyone could watch and immediately understand — regardless of age or technical comfort level.
Our Solution
Digital Media Collab produced a series of ten concise instructional videos built around minimal illustration and bright, high-contrast color palettes. Each video uses bold backgrounds — oranges, greens, yellows, and teals — with clean flat illustrations of the devices, patients, and supporting materials. Rather than overcomplicating with heavy animation, we kept the visual style purposeful and friendly — just enough motion to guide the eye and reinforce each step. The result is a complete patient education library covering device fitting, daily usage schedules, insurance documentation, and the STIM onTRACK app.
